Things To Do - Livability Magazines

This typically is a one or two page section intro for the Things to Do section of the Livability magazines. The goal is to draw readers into the section with strong photography and copy that explains the type of information they will find within it, as well as provide a sampling of the 10 most significant “must-do” activities for a visitor or resident to get a true feel for the community’s character and vitality.

  • 10 copy items. Each item should be 35-40 words total.

  • Each itemshould have a two- or three-word "headline"

  • Either (or both) the headline and copy should be a call to action, starting with a verb in the imperative mood for each of the must-do activities.  i.e. "Go to the Zoo," for a headline and/or "Get up close and personal with more than 300 species of animals from around the world at the Pueblo Zoo ...." for the copy block. You don't have to make them both a call to action if it's a struggle. One will do.

  • The name of each attraction, event, activity, restaurant or food item will be in bold text within the copy.
